Blue Willow Coffee
About us
After Snowmageddon here in Willis, friends and neighbors began encouraging me to take my love of coffee and turn it into something more. Their support gave me the courage to dream about what that could look like.
In 2021, I took the leap and created the very first Blue Willow Coffee trailer.
The journey didn't exactly go according to plan. New city ordinances eventually forced us to move outside the city limits, so instead of giving up, I got creative. I built a coffee cart and began operating inside a couple of local boutiques. For the next few years, Blue Willow Coffee continued to grow, one little cup at a time, until I was given the opportunity to build out the little house that Blue Willow Coffee now calls home.
And then there's the name.
Blue Willow is named after my grandma, the woman who introduced me to coffee when I was a kid through something as simple and special as coffee milk. That childhood memory stayed with me, and naming my coffee shop after her was my way of carrying a little piece of her with me into this journey.
What started as coffee I made for fun has become so much more than a business. Blue Willow Coffee is a dream built through change, perseverance, God, and the encouragement of a community that believed in me before I fully believed in myself.
Today, when you walk through the doors of Blue Willow, I hope you feel what I wanted to create all along — a little place where good coffee, good people, and meaningful moments come together.
Thank you for being part of our story.
About us
Before Blue Willow, I spent 17 years as a hairstylist, where I loved getting to know my clients and creating a space where people could feel comfortable, cared for, and welcomed. Along the way, I developed another passion - coffee. I would make coffee for my clients, friends, and family just for fun, never imagining that it would eventually become something so much bigger.
